March 2026 Online
Introduction to Pranayama & Meditation

2 Week Online Course for Newcomers

I would like to offer this NEW course to those who have not had  the opportunity to be introduced to meditative/ Pranayama practices and yet have a longing to learn such tools towards clarity of the mind and explore a possibility towards inner quietude.

It is also interesting to note that the breath is directly linked to the nervous system. Simply explained: as we learn to consciously make changes to our breath, we are able to shift from the agitated part of our nervous system, to the calmer side of the nervous system. An incredibly precious tool! In our course, I will explain this in detail and teach you how to do this on your own.

Pranayamas are breathing techniques developed by Yogis. In the way Emil Wendel teaches and with whom I have learned, we use Pranayama as a tool towards meditation.

*There is no physical postures in this course.

Hence, if you have never done Yoga, but have a longing to learn the foundation of these practices, you are very welcome to join this course!

May 2026 in France
Restorative Yoga Training & Yoga Retreat

I am delighted to start sharing retreats in France, my second home country. Dordogne is a beautiful region that has captured our hearts and by pure serendipity I found Le Hangar, a place surrounded by nature (imperative in my retreats) and that is well equipped with good quality props to host my Restorative Training Module and Retreat.

In my opinion, a healthy human being has both sides in his/her life: moments of being fully engaged with the world, but also moments of rest, stillness, silence and contemplation.

Some practices of Yoga are said to emphasize precisely such state of inner quietude.

Restorative Yoga helps to gently open and release certain areas in our bodies. The nervous system begins to calm down, which results in a relaxed physical and mental state, allowing us to replenish and restore.

We begin to approach and interact with the world with a more grounded body and a clearer mind.

If you would like to learn such practices and /or learn to share them with others, come and join this seven-day immersion in Dordogne.

July 2026 Mill Retreat in Austria
with Emil Wendel & Anouk Aoun

Again, it is with great joy that we return to the Mill Retreat Centre in July 2O26. Surrounded by mountains and lakes the Mill is one of our favourite places to teach workshops in Europe. All meals are Ayurveda-inspired, prepared by a Yogic chef and supervised by our expert and friend Daniela Wolff.

There will be the essentials of Asana, Pranayama and meditation.

Also, Emil offers rich daily modules of philosophy, the latter not confined to only India. This year, Himalayan yogic traditions will be one of our themes, with related audio-visual material for contemplation.

As always, our retreats are a search for a meaningful practice and a way to re-spark our home practice. Together, we look for a discerning mind to assist us in the ebbs and flows of this intricate world.

Note: For those that book early there is accommodation in the Mill itself, for 8 or 9 participants at the most.

All the other guests may stay in one of the beautiful guesthouses nearby – we can provide a list to choose from.

Price for our programme inclusive of all meals (without room): €800. Advance amount to secure a place in the retreat: €250

* There are now 8 places left for this retreat

2 Week Daily Led Sessions for Advanced Practitioners of Pranayama & Meditation

I would like to offer these NEW sessions called ‘A Seamless Practice’, to those who already know Pranayama, looking to sit with a community (sangha) and with an experienced  teacher leading the session.

Sitting together, once or twice a year, is a way to bring about spark and encouragement and keeps the practice going.

In order to impart a thorough and deep practice and a daily rhythm, this minimum number of sessions is what I propose to teach.

This course requires dedication and an eagerness to dive deep into the  practice.

2025 Japan Retreat at Minobusan
with Emil Wendel & Anouk Aoun

In the delightful environment of Kuon-ji and Mount Minobu, this retreat with Emil and Anouk is designed to introduce you to both a stimulating postural practice and the magic that lies beyond the physical aspect of yoga.

The home of Nichiren Buddhism, Kuon-ji sits at the foot of Mt. Minobu. Yoga Tree Retreats has arranged accommodations at temple inns and the meals are Shojin-Ryori, translated as temple food served in Buddhist temples in Japan. Our Yoga session are held at temples and we participate in some of Kuon-ji’s Buddhist services. Weather depending, there will be a 3 hour nature hike up the mountain (cable car available as an option) and Emil will share philosophy at the temple facilities near the peak.
